ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Name / Nick : Hoppy Website : Hoppy's Bag (http://start.at/hoppysbag)
Right, the theory... To revise is to learn, right? I mean, if you don't learn, then you havn't revised properly. So, how do you learn? One way is to do something over and over again, but students don't have the time, and anyway they can't be bothered. So the other and, some say , better method is to Look At, Forget and Remember. So the theory runs that to maximise your revision you should spend your time Looking At books and then Forgetting what's in the books, before Remembering the book's content... or indeed it's title... Now, the best way to Forget something is to Do Something Else. I find video games are best. So, in practise, I look at a book for 5 minutes, and spend the next two hours playing GoldenEye on my N64. Now comes the hard part, Remembering what was on the page. Write It Down. Then Check It. If you get It right, smile... and play another level. If not, you've just wasted 2 hours and 5 minutes of your precious revision time. D'oh... Hoppy's Bag will accept no responsibility if your parents kick your ass for this. Thank you... Goodnight.
